According to the Honda’s production, sales and export figures of automobile for February 2012, global production increased 31.3% year-on-year to 366,721 units, marking an increase for the two consecutive month.

Its production in Japan increased significantly with 115,920 units, 64.8% up on year-on-year basis, surpassing the last year’s figures for the third consecutive month.

Honda’s production outside Japan increased for the first time in 5 months to reach 250,801 units, a 20% year-on-year increase. In Asia, its production slightly dropped to 72,917 units, 2.7% down from the previous year. However, the figures in the North America went up 38.8% year-on-year to 151,818 units, recording an all-time monthly production. The Production in Europe also went well with 13,661 units, a 23.3% year-on-year increase.
