Overseas production increased to 338,388 units, 31.8% up on year-on-year basis. Production in all region surpassed the figures of the year before. Especially the production in China was outstanding with a big 70.1% increase on year-to-year basis.

Nissan’s domestic sales increased as well with 72,115 units, 19.4% up from the year before. Its domestic car registration increased 25.9% year-on-year to 55,675 units. The growth is mainly attributed to increased registration of Serena, Note and Cube, which all certify for the government’s subsidy program for eco-friendly vehicles. The company’s sales for mini-vehicles also increased to 16,440 units, a 1.7% year-to-year increase.
