We assured her that her words were the ones that we really wanted to hear. I felt like it was important to have an artist that was not chomping at the bit to do this. I wanted to work with an artist that did have a lot of questions about whether or not this was right for them so that we could fall in love with this project together.

彼女のその言葉が正に我々の聞きたい一言だったと確信をしました。ややめちゃくちゃでも困りますが、そうではないそんなアーティストが居ることが大事なんだろうなと思いました。
例えば、取り組むことの中で、その方向に疑問を常に持ち続ける、そんなアーティストと一緒に仕事をしたいと思ったのです。そういう中でこのプロジェクトへ参加したいという思いが強くなったわけです。
