クラブに遊びに行ったことが無い人が「行ってみたいな」って思えるきっかけを潰している要因がそこにあると思います。日本にはJ-POPというメインストリームが不動の地位を築いてて、それに付随するようにカラオケという最強の大衆文化がある。
ちょっと話はそれますけど、今日本でクラブ営業規制が厳しいじゃないですか。「なぜカラオケはよくてクラブはダメなの？」って思います。大して遊び方変わんないじゃないって思うし、むしろクラブの方が楽しみ方は沢山あるって思います。

I think in that point lies a factor that footles the chance of people to go to clubs: the people who have never gone to clubs but want to go there. In Japan the mainstream of J-POP has established its permanent place. Incidentally, we have a most powerful pop culture, Karaoke.
I may digress, but, as you know, the regulation for club business is hard and fast. I wonder “why Karaoke is OK while club is not.” There is not so much difference in the ways of entertainment between the two. Rather we can enjoy more in various ways at clubs, I think.
