二ツ小屋トンネル(廃道)
福島県福島市から山形県米沢市を結ぶ道路は、1881年に開通し明治天皇により万世大路と名付けられた。
二ツ小屋トンネル(384m)は、万世大路に2つあるトンネルの一つです。
1934年(昭和9年)に自動車が通行できるように、拡張工事が行われました。
1966年(昭和41年)には、冬季の豪雪時にも通行できるように新たな場所にトンネルを開通させ、万世大路はその役割を終えて廃道になりました。
万世大路の由来：長きにわたってこの立派な道路が人々の役に立つように

Futatsugoya Tunnel(Abandoned road)
The road connecting from Fukushima-city, Fukushima prefecture to Yonezawa-city, Yamagata prefecture was opened in 1881 and it was named Bansei Tairo by Meiji emperor.
Futatsugoya Tunnel(384metre) is one of two tunnels at Bansei Tairo.
The expansion construction was conducted in 1934 to make automobiles pass through.
New tunnel was constructed in different new location in order to be able to run in the midst of winter season in 1966, and Bansei Tairo was abolished after ending of the role.
The origin of Bansei Tairo: May the road make serve the people for a long time.
