私たちは普段から使いなれた道であっても,自身の歩行ペースが適切であるか, 曖昧で不安な状態のまま目的の場所へ移動している「時間的な迷子」である.これまでの解決策として,カウントダウンや理想速度を示すシステムが提案されてきた.しかし,数値情報やメータ表示等では情報量が多く直感性に欠けていた.本論文では,現在の歩行速度が理想速度からどの程度ずれているか,数値情報を可視化させ,路面上に直接投影される三人称視点を用いた手法を提案する.
Even when it's a path that we're used to taking, there are still "temporal lost people" who are walking at the wrong pace or moving towards their goals in a vague and unstable condition. Up until now, the solutions that have been proposed for that are countdowns or a system which indicates the ideal speed. However, most numerical information and meter indicators are not intuitive. In this paper, we made information about how far walking speed was from the ideal speed and other numeric information visual and propose a technique in which this visualization is directly projected onto the road surface in the three people's view.
予備実験として,実際に到着予定時間に到着するかを目的とした,システムの精度の評価実験を行った.次に,デバイス使用時と使用なしの比較実験を行い,路面上に二点投影する提示方法が,ユーザにとってどのように受け入れられるかを評価した.三人称視点を使った二点の投影方法は,歩行ペースが理解しやすく有効であり,被験者からの好感度も高かった.展望として,デバイス使用を介してのエンターテイメントツールやコミュニケーションツールとしての利用が考えられる.
As a preliminary experiment, we set the goal of arriving at the planned arrival time and performed an assessment experiment to determine the system's accuracy. Next, we performed an experiment comparing times between use of the device and non-use of the device, and projection of the indicators on two points of the road, in order to assess whether the users were actually utilizing the information. The three person view with two projection points that we used made the walking pace easy to understand and effective, as well as being well-liked by participants. Looking ahead, we can see this device being used by entertainment and communication tours in the future.
