【明星和楽2012】スタートアップショーケース前半−日本のスタートアップがアジアに向けてプレゼン
9月8日、9日にテックとクリエイティブの祭典「明星和楽」が開催された。イベント当日は福岡市長による講演や孫泰蔵氏による講演、著名人やVCなどによるパネルトーク、そしてスタートアップ・サービス10社によるショーケースピッチがおこなわれた。
[Myojo Waraku 2012] The first half of Startup Show Case – Japanese Startup presented for Asia
The festival of technology and creativity, Myojo Waraku, was held on September 8th and 9th. On the day of the event, a lecture by a mayor of Fukuoka and by Mr. Taizo Son, a panel discussion by celebrities and VC, and showcase pitch by 10 companies of Startup service were held.
クラウドで翻訳をもっと手軽に−Conyac
最初にサービスのピッチを行ったのは株式会社エニドア代表のNaoki Yamada氏。同社が提供するクラウドソーシング型翻訳サービスのConyac（Japan,Tokyo）の紹介が行われた。Conyacは一般的な人力翻訳に比較して安価にサービスを提供しており、2012年8月に公開した翻訳者コミュニティ機能で翻訳者同士の連携もはかっている。
Making translation easier and more convenient, by cloud computing – Conyac
The first service presentation was by Mr. Naoki Yamada from anydooR Inc., who introduced the company’s Cloud-sourcing translation service, Conyac（Japan,Tokyo）. Conyac proffers human powered translation service, with cheaper prices compared to the others. Using translators’ community functions released on August 2012, it also aspires for the translators to cooperate with each other.
ユーザは翻訳者と依頼者にわかれ、依頼者が翻訳をしてもらいたい文章を書き込むと世界中にいるその言語が得意な翻訳者によって翻訳が行われる。翻訳者は誰でもなることが可能だ。安価でスピードの早い翻訳は、eコマースやニュースサイトなどでニーズがある。多言語で情報を発信する必要があるこれからは、注目すべきサービスになりそうだ。
Users are either translators or clients. Once clients enter a passage to be translated, translators who are skilled at the language will translate the passage. Anyone can become a translator. Inexpensive and speedy translation is needed by e-commerce and news websites. As multi-language information transmission is increasingly needed, this service is becoming more remarkable.
ソーシャルで旅を楽しむtrippiece
続いてピッチを行ったのは、ソーシャルに旅のプランを作り行きたい人達と一緒に旅に出るサービスのtrippiece（Japan,Tokyo）。大学在学中の学生起業家、石田言行氏がそれぞれ海外経験のあるメンバーと立上げている。
Trippiece – enjoy travel with social service
Next, a pitch of trippiece (Tokyo, Japan), the social service to go on a trip with people who want to make a trip plan, was conducted. Student Entrepreneur, Mr. Ian Ishida, who are still going to college, has established it with other members who have overseas experience.
旅行に行きたいという欲求は誰もが持っているもの。誰かと一緒に旅行に行くと様々な思い出を作ることが出来る。旅行代理店によるプランも山ほどあり、交通機関も発達しているため、旅にはとても行きやすくなっている。だが、「最適な旅を探すことができない」「一緒に旅に行く友達がいない」「企画には時間がかかる」といった問題もある。こうした問題を解決するのがソーシャル旅行サービスのtrippieceだ。
Everyone has a desire to travel. If one goes to trip with others, one can make various memories. There are many travel plans made by travel agencies, and traveling is becoming easier with the development of transportation. サービスを利用することでユーザは、旅行企画や過去に行った旅の体験談などの情報を共有できる。ソーシャルネットワークとも連携し、趣味／趣向の近いユーザー同士で旅行プランごとにグループ化できる機能も備えている。ボリビアにいったり、スカイダイビングなど、様々な旅企画がこれまでに実施されており、今では2万人のユーザがいるそうだ。
By using service, users can share travel plans and stories of past trips. It also has the function to group users who have similar hobbies and tastes by travel plans, collaborating with social network. So far, many travel plans such as going to Bolivia and skydiving were realized; at this point, 20,000 users are registered.
イベントとコワーキングスペースをつなぐCoworkify
続いてピッチを行ったのはイベントとコワーキングスペースを繋ぐC2CサービスのCoworkify（Japan,Tokyo）。Startup Weekend Kyoto2011で優勝した過去がある。
ビジネス、行政、様々な場面で使われていないワークスペース過多の問題を、ワークスペースをレンタルして収益化するインフラを提供することで解決することを目指している。
Connecting events and coworking space - coworkify
The next pitch was by Coworkify（Japan,Tokyo）, which provides C2C services, connecting events and coworking spaces. It has a history of winning at Startup Weekend Kyoto2011.
Coworkify aspires to solve the overage of workspace that are not used by many occasions at business, government etc., by monetizing rental workspace.
