The University of Cambridge's Pembroke Players return to Japan this autumn with their production of Macbeth. Set in Edwardian Britain, in a country house haunted by the absence of a child, where rocking horses move unprovoked, the clocks forever tick, and spirits are ever present, the Macbeth and his wife are left questioning who and what they can trust as they sacrifice everything for power.

The Pembroke Players return on September 21, 2012 to present Macbeth as part of their 2012 Japan Tour (sponsored by Seikei University).

This will be the group's fourth performance in Yokohama.

A Japanese synopsis will be provided for non-English speakers.

ケンブリッジ大学のペンブローク劇団がマクベスの作品とともにこの秋日本に帰ってきます。イギリス木馬が攻撃される子供不足に取り付かれた田舎の家,時計は時を刻み続け、魂は存在せず、マクベスと妻は力の為にすべてを犠牲にしてきたので、何を信じたら良いかと居続けている、エドワード朝時代の設定です。

ペンブローク劇団は2012年の9月21日に2012年の日本公演の一部としてマクベスを演じる為に戻ってきます。(提供は成蹊大学）

これが団にとって横浜で四回目の公演となります。
