友人と買い物に行った時、沢山買い物をして自分のバッグには入らなくなってしまったので、バッグを買おうとしたら「バッグを貸してあげるよ。次あったときに返して。」と友人が言ってくれたので、借りました。
帰宅してバッグを見たら持ち手に大きなヒビが入っているではありませんか！ぶつけた覚えはありません。電話で友人にはなしたら、貸した時点では何も問題なかったと言われました。
バッグの値段を調べたら10万円前後でした！見た目は結構使い込んであって古い感じのバッグです。弁償する必要ありますか？
When I went out shopping with a friend of mine, I didn't have any rooms left in my shopping bag because I shopped a lot. Then she let me borrow her own bag instead, saying "Here you are. You can have this today. Give me back next time we meet."
After I got back home and looked at that bag, I found a big crack in one of its handles! I don't think I hit it anywhere. Then I made a phone call with her, she said, "There was no problem with it then."
I checked out the price of that bag, and it worthed at around 100 thousand yen. It looked like terribly worn-out and very old. Do I need to pay the damage?
