I have just been to the post office and was told that it is quite complicated to get it insured. It took them about 20 minutes to figure out that the cheapest way to send the reel insured (up to 250 Euros) would cost 18 Euros which is the equivalent to about 16 pounds and they were not quite sure whether shipping this way they are able to provide a trackingnumber (but were pretty sure) and if it is I will of course provide it for you. As far as the expected time of arrival is concerned I was told that this can vary quite a bit.
