For the founders of companies, letting go must be doubly difficult. How hard it must be to hand over a business that you have created or co-created, and then entrust the future of that business to others. Some entrepreneurs are comparatively quick to hand over responsibility for day-to-day running, usually because they believe that other people can add more value in the CEO role, or bring something different to the table.
