お地蔵様のご利益も併せ持ったスーパー観音様なんですね。
十一面観音はその名の如く、頭の上に１０の顔を持つ仏様。
この１０の顔で全方位を見渡し、一人として見過ごす事無く助けて下さるのだとか。
正面からは見えませんが、ちゃんと背中側を見ている顔もあるそうです。
十一面観音さまの足下に入れるのは一年の限られた特別拝観の日だけ。
普段は本堂から上半身だけを拝めます。
足下に入りたい方は拝観日にご注意を！

It's a super Kannon that makes use of the power of the Jizo as well.
Just like the name suggests, this Buddha has 10 faces on her head. She can look in every direction of the world, and help everyone she sees on her own. You can't see it from the front, but she also has faces on the back of her head.
There is only one day in the year you can stand right in front of her feet. Normally you pay your respects from the main hall of the temple, which only shows the upper part of her body. Those who want to stand right next to her feet should pay attention to when the right day comes!

These 10 faces can look around every direction and the Kannon helps everyone without fail.
Though we cannot see that from the front side, it has a face looking back properly.
You can go into the beneath of 11-face Kannon statue only the limited days of special visits in year.
Usually, you can visit it only the upper body from the main hall.
