現代日本における「オタク」の定義
「オタク」という言葉が登場した当時は、自宅内で特定の趣味（アニメ・マンガ・ゲーム等）を満喫する人々のことを「オタク」（自宅にこもる人→お宅の主→オタク）と名付けて揶揄する意味合いがありました。
しかし、近年の「オタク」は活動域をお宅外にも広げ、また、アニメやマンガだけではなく何らかの趣味にのめりこむ人のことも「○○オタク」と呼称する時代になっています。

However, area where "Otaku" recently acts is not only at home but those who are devoted not only to
animation and comic book but also some hobbies are called "○○Otaku"these days.
