Standard English → Italian Italian → English French → Italian
My translation areas of expertise are the following ones: art history and art catalogues, cosmetics, literature and music (particularly web site for musicians and singers and their leaflets).
Plus, I have a full-time job where English is daily used (and French is used from time to time) and it often required a translation with really short notice, so I am pretty good at working under pressure and in a hurry without losing my concentration.
I have always had a great passion for languages and particularly for English and the British culture, I studied and lived abroad during my academic studies. I inform you about such experiences since I believe that the language knowledge is fundamental, but it is never enough. To be a translator, you need to have a really good cultural background concerning your areas of expertise as well as you need to master the culture both of your native language and the one of the language you translate.
Cosmetics: Translations both from Italian to English and to French of catalogues that include a very specific description of the products made and sold by the Company itself;
Art: Translations of the catalogues published by the museum where you find a description of the works that the museum owns.
12:00 - 20:00 (CET) Monday-Friday;
08:00 - 14:00 (CET) Weekends (Saturday-Sunday)
