The first thing you will see is water so transparent, you won't believe it's flowing in a river. It's like an another world you won't find outside Yakushima.
The water here is so pure you can drink it directly from the stream. You will want to be here in summer to enjoy the crystalline, cold water.

Senbiro waterfall is one of the three big waterfalls of Yakushima.
It's 60 meters high from the base of it to the source river, which is called Tai no kawa ("the river of sea breams") which starts from the center of the island.
The waterfall is based on a huge granite bedrock that is 250m x 300m big.
