モノクロの写真は1990年(平成2年)に中央区佃島で撮影されたものである。
後ろに見える建設中のビルは大川端リバーシティーで石川島播磨重工があった跡地に作られた。カラーの写真は2012年2月に撮影されたもの。
工場の跡地には何棟ものマンションが立ち並んだが住吉神社から南側にはまだまだ下町情緒いっぱいの住宅が建ち並んでいる。
写真に写っている手すり 20年以上経つと錆びるものだ。

The photo in black and white was taken in Tsukudajima, Chuo Ward in 1990.
The building under construction on the background is Okawabata Rivercity, which was built on the site of old Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. The color phot was taken in February in 2012.
A row of apartments were built on the site of the factory while many small residents still remain with old downtown atomosphere on the south side of the Sumiyoshi Shrine.
You can see the rail in the photo, covered with rust after over twenty years.
