モノクロの写真は1990年（平成2年）に中央区佃島で撮影されたものである。
後ろに見える建設中のビルは大川端リバーシティーで石川島播磨重工があった跡地に作られた。カラーの写真は2012年2月に撮影されたもの。
工場の跡地には何棟ものマンションが立ち並んだが住吉神社から南側にはまだまだ下町情緒いっぱいの住宅が建ち並んでいる。
写真に写っている手すり　20年以上経つと錆びるものだ。

This monochrome picture was taken in 1990 in Tsukudajima, Central Ward.
The construction site visible in the background is the Ookawabata River City, made in place of Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industry. The color photo was taken in February 2012.
At the old factory's site, some mansions were built, but from Sumiyoshi Temple to the southern side, buildings full of downtown charm are still standing.
The guardrail on the photo is rusted after over 20 years that it was there.
