'Loop melos" is een Grieks spel. Het is genoemd naar Melos, die gevangen genomen werd door een tiran en die gedood zou worden. Hij vraagt echter aan een vriend om zich als hem voor te doen zodat Melos zich kan voorstellen op zijn jongere zus' trouw ceremonie. Hij vertelde zijn vriend dat hij vast en zeker zou terug komen.
