Taken charge of editorial design of a book published in commemoration of the 170th year, cover works, and directing and designing of printed materials aimed at students.
In total, 4 projects and 1 mini book project were created. These come with a visual book with history and business achievements.

This module is equipped with our interactive setup feature to allow easy setting of the desired options.

All programming is done by using the center console roof buttons (1) and (2) and the cluster buzzer. Functions and their settings are indicated by beeping patterns of the buzzer. Navigation is done by tapping "CLOSE" (1) for next function or "OPEN" (2) for next setting. After selecting the last function or function setting, the setup automatically jumps back to the first function / lowest setting. Each time either a new function is selected or a function's setting is changed, the buzzer will indicate the new status by first beeping the function number, followed by a short pause and then the setting number.

Amobee Acquires 3D Mobile Advertising Business Adjitsu

It was just a couple of months ago when California-based ad company Amobee was acquired by SingTel for $321 million. Now today there’s word that Amobee is itself acquiring Adjitsu, which is a 3D mobile advertising business developed and owned by Cooliris, the folks behind LiveShare. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Cooliris has long been known for dazzling 3D photo gallery displays. And its Adjitsu 3D advertising graphics look just as slick. Products displayed in 3D can attract far more user interaction, as you can see in the demo video below. Here we see a Nokia Lumia 800 phone being turned and then viewed from multiple angles, and color changes are toggled with controls on the side.

Personally speaking, I wasn’t even aware of the fact that Cooliris had branched into this kind of business. Indeed this small, standalone business unit was only just spun-off by Cooliris in 2011. It’s certainly a practical use of 3D technology, in contrast with other 3D experiments which may have gone bust.

Survey Says Japan Seen as Most Creative Country, By Everyone Except Japan [Infographic]

Adobe has released an interesting survey which takes a look at creativity across the globe. Its State of Create global benchmark study surveyed [1] people in the US, the UK, Germany, France, and Japan and came up with a number of interesting findings on how people in some of the world’s largest economies view creativity. Among the most remarkable findings in this report is how the respondents around the world view creativity in Japan, and how this contrasts with how respondents in Japan see themselves.

Among the total respondents, Japan was deemed the most creative country among those listed (by 36 percent) and Tokyo the world’s most creative city (by 30 percent of respondents). The report noted however that Japan does not seem to see itself in the same way the rest of the world does, with most Japanese seeing the US and New York as the most creative country and city respectively. The report further states:

Outside of Japan, national pride in each country is evident, with residents of the United Kingdom, Germany and France ranking their own countries and cities next in line after Japan.

I also found it interesting that 78 percent of Japanese respondents said that “being creative is still reserved for the arts community” – a stark contrast with the other nations surveyed who responded in the range of 21 to 38 percent. Personally, I find it pretty easy to discover creativity in Japan by walking down almost any street here, where almost every single yard or garden is impeccably groomed with colorful flowers and beautiful stone walls.
