Hello. My name is Machi Kanjo.
I am a student in the University of Sunshine Coast, majoring in Social Work.
I am doing a volunteer work in an aged care place to support and help people and their wellbeing. I enjoy spending time with them and being a part of community at the same time.
Also, I am doing an online course to obtain the Certificate3 Early childhood education and care, so I will be qualified to work as an early childhood educator next year.
I speak English and Japanese proficiently, so I am able to work as a translator between the two languages.
In addition, I have obtained the Completion of Project Global Citizen in Australia, which proves I am culturally aware and capable to work within a global work environment.
In a country like Australia where there are so many different ethnicities, it is significant to have respect and understanding of what is like to work with people who have different back grands.
I now try to gain as many experiences and skills as possible until I graduate from university, so it will be wonderful to be a part of your work or simply help you with my current skills and knowledge.
