Today, we would like to introduce the innovative secondary battery electrode sheet inspection system.
The base materials of the collector belt are made of copper foil, which are shedding the two-faced works.
The line sensors are placed in the front and back, and the surface inspections are carried out in real-time while taking images in.
Here is the new model exhibited this time.
This device has been newly developed in our company to mark the location of defects.
The hidden pen comes out to mark the base material when defect occurs.
After marking, the color sensor equipped inside determines the place of defects.

Heres what I found out today. I am getting more Superfast 2.0 Heads. These will be the LCG heads, from the feedback I have heard these are the best of the Superfasts. They are marked LCG by an L on their serial. They read something like TxxxxL. These are hands down the best of the Superfasts. I will have 8.5, 9.5, and 10.5 these will be 275 each. The quantity of these is very limited so I cant really do any breaks on them.

I am also getting more 8 and 10.5 dots they will be 450. These will also be limited quantity.

I should have both in about a week. I placed the order for them today.

Fast forward to today, ShopLocket is still going strong and I’m more determined than ever. So, what happens after you interview at Y Combinator — and get rejected? Well, whatever you make happen. Life as an entrepreneur is a roller coaster ride. You need to take what comes at you and make the most of it. For us getting rejected from Y Combinator has just been more fuel for the fire.

So this is no surprise; we didn’t get into YC’s class of Winter 2012. But that hasn’t slowed us down. In fact, I think its moved us ahead 100x faster than had we not interviewed at all.

We met some amazing people in the process who we still work closely with today. Not to mention, I’m a bit persistent (okay, a little more than a bit) and rejecting us was sort of like feeding me fire.

When we got back to Toronto I showed our demo to pretty much everyone I know and we got angel funding from one of my close friends Heather Payne. Heather is the founder of Toronto-based Ladies Learning Code. Heather may not work for a VC fund or be part of an angel network, but she believed in me and what we were building.

Objection two, PayPal. PayPal was, and currently still is, our only supported merchant service. This is a tougher problem to solve. We only want to support merchant services that make it ridiculously simple for the average person to start collecting money online. Luckily, we have some exciting updates coming to ShopLocket that should help Paul Graham sleep at night.

Objection one, we called our embedded products “deals”. Yup, deals. Again, what were we thinking? The connotations of deals, especially in Silicon Valley are not great. It implies getting rid of stuff on sale and that we are associated with all of the daily deal platform hype. While we still enable times sales on ShopLocket, this is no longer a core focus of the platform.

Our interview was in front of a panel of five. Including four YC partners.

The interview was only 10 minutes. Yes, we flew across the continent for 10 minutes. And it was totally worth it. Lets just say, the opportunity to pitch your new e-commerce platform in front of the founders of one of the first online store platforms is pretty priceless.

While it was pretty unanimous during the interview that there was room in the space for a single product e-commerce platform, there were two main objections to our product.

But we were quick to act on the feedback, realizing that if we really wanted to solve the problem at hand we had to move away from existing platforms. A number of late nights went by and in time for our interview, we had the beginnings of what is ShopLocket today; a stand alone platform for selling individual products. No storefront. Like most teams interviewing at Y Combinator, we spent hours before the interview running through every possible question they might throw at us. While it helped a bit in the interview it was actually far better preparation for every conversation I’ve had about ShopLocket since. It was like pitch boot camp.

Feedback on our initial application was that we were thinking too small. Looking back, boy was that an understatement. While our ultimate goal has always been the same, make it easy for anyone to sell online, we were afraid that “starting a new e-commerce platform” might sound over ambitious. We couched our risk by saying we’d start out as just another plug-in for existing online stores.

What were we thinking? That doesn’t actually solve anything, for anyone.

Especially after the group-buying model spread across China and smart-phones became the norm with location based check-in services, Chinese are now searching and paying online, consuming offline at the shops and sharing their experience with their friends through social networks.

Now that China’s economy has created an abundance of wealth, many are thinking what they can do with their money. Ever the opportunistic type, Chinese want to invest their money and make more. This has created many so-called ‘Angel Investors’ from professionals, to celebrities such as Yao Ming the former-NBA player. Even universities like the famous Tsinghua University have created a ‘campus fund’ to invest in their brightest students. Often equity is exchanged for funding, resources and most importantly in China, relationships.

Copycats – the springboard to innovation

‘Shanzhai’ or copying is probably the most talked about topic in China start-ups. But like or not, it is the standard. Many criticize it for lack of creativity or even ethics, but for China as a developing country, copying allows start-ups to start with an already tested model and tweak it to China. It is up to the entrepreneur to tweak the model and adapt it to the China market. This is called micro-innovation.

Places to meet and create start-ups

One trend that emerged from late 2010 has been a recent explosion in collateral services to help support start-ups including incubators like Innovation Works and ChinaAccelerator as well as co-working cafes like Garage Cafe and Big Bang Cafe. Such establishments have been created to allow entrepreneurs to meet and work together in a very energetic environment where ideas can grow into businesses.

Baby's sense of hearing begins before birth. By birth, a newborn has been listening to mother's voice for at least three months and can distinguish it from other women's voices.

Newborn babies can see, but not very clearly. Their vision is 20/600 and they cannot see well directly in front of their faces. A newborn can actually see better out of the corner of his or her eye.

Their sense of taste is well developed at birth, however, the ability to detect saltiness does not emerge until about four months.

Babies sense motion and gravity using the inner ear, or vestibular system. This is one of the earliest senses to develop and is responsible for many newborn reflexes, such as the Moro response. Also known as the startle response, this reflex action is characterized by the flailing open of a baby's arms if he or she has a sudden sensation of falling.

Pediatricians test the vestibular system by turning a baby's head from side to side and looking for eye movements in the opposite direction: when the head turns right, a baby's eyes will move left, so that they stay focused on what's in front of them. This is called the doll's eye reflex because it is similar to the movement of the weighted eyes in dolls.
