Experienced and adaptable translator/interpreter specializing in English to Japanese translation and subtitling. With
multiple years of academic and professional experience in Japan and the UK, I have an acute eye for detail and enjoy
developing sympathy and compassion for the characters/creators/speakers I translate for as a transparent bridge
between the English and Japanese worlds. I aim to further develop my experience by working with a variety of content
and clients that will enrich, or positively affect peoples’ lives.

経験5年の英日映像翻訳者。クライアントの要望により日英翻訳も提供。大学での主な専攻は文学翻訳、映像翻訳で、卒業後イギリス・ウエストミンスター大学での1年間の留学を終え帰国。日本人ゼロの映像制作会社 DigitalHub.JP に入社し、事務、翻訳・通訳、制作関連など多岐にわたり従事する。その後映像翻訳を主な業務として独立。映像翻訳においては、メッセージの発信者と受け手双方に対する責任を持ちながら、英語話者と日本語話者の間の透明な掛け橋として、人々の生活にポジティブな影響を与えられる作品に寄与することを常に目標としている。
