My Language Skills:
I can speak five different languages (Chinese Mandarin, Cantonese, Shanghaiese, Japanese and English) in high levels of proficiency. My native language is Mandarin Chinese and Shanghaiese. I can transcribe in both simplified and traditional Chinese. I learnt Japanese as a hobby and passed the JPLT N1 test in 2017. I am living in Canada since 2008 and finished my university degree here. I am very confident with my English ability as well. I can comprehend, speak and write well in English. Aside from my professional career as a programmer, in my spare time, I teach Chinese to native English speakers online.

My Industry Knowledge:
I have experience in the IT industry for over 7 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University located in Vancouver, Canada. Since graduation, I worked as a programmer for the Canadian government agency since 2015. I understand computer-related terminologies very well and would like to apply my knowledge to help accurately translate meanings to the audience with different backgrounds.
