I am a native Italian, convinced that learning languages means wanting to know and communicate with the world around us. Driven by this assumption, since I was a child I have always wanted to deal with realities different from my own and to be able to communicate with people who live far away from me, even at the other side of the world.

For this reason I have built my professional and personal life always inside international contexts, immersing myself completely in the languages and cultures that i studied and at the same time learning new ones during my journey.

I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures in 2003. Although my specialization is in Arabic language and literature, and German as second language of my study plan, during last years the other language I used most is English language. I was employed at the Cultural Office of the Egyptian Embassy in Rome until last July, when i decided to quit to completely dedicate myself to translations. The languages I use most in my day life as well as in translation works are Arabic, English and German. But i'm also facing translation of legal and general documents from Spanish to Italian.

Moreover, i've lately been participating in a HT project in English to Italian and in a MTPE project in the following language combinations: English to Italian, German to Italian, Spanish to Italian, French to Italian. Within the same project, i've also been selected like Quality Assurance team member for checking translations completed by other linguists in the language combination English to Italian.
I also attended last month a training course in “Translation and Subtitles” (English to Italian language pair), organized by School of Cinema “Sentieri Selvaggi”, Rome.

My topics of expertise are: culture; legal; administrative documents; general documents; education and training; literature; but i'm facing also translations in other topics such as technical products descriptions and instructions; travels; financial reports.
