My name is Francisco Martínez, I’m a telecom engineer, but I have always been interested in language and the possibilities of improving the human condition. My professional career began with the design of telecommunications equipment, and continued monitoring telecommunications projects for corporate clients. My interest in international relations led me to the Master in Diplomacy and International Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain. In connection with this activity, I write a blog (though not regularly) that addresses issues of international politics (sisigambisyalejandro.blogspot.com/). Currently I would like to do translations and learn about new materials and translation tools, and I think I can contribute, but this contribution is modest, to the translation of general and technical texts.
As for my personal life, I am 58 years old and I am married. I like listening to classical music, reading novels, philosophy, physics (gravitation and cosmology), play tennis and socialize with my friends. Of course, I like to translate.
