Hello and welcome to my profile!

My name is Adam Hankin, and I graduated from university with a double major in international business and Japanese. During university I studied abroad in Japan at Iwate University and worked part time translating and proofreading company material between Japanese and English. Living in Northern Japan, there were almost no English speakers in the area. Therefore, I was forced to become proficient in Japanese and became immersed in the culture.

After graduating university, I returned to Japan to teach English. At this job I quickly became the go to guy for translating company reports into English and explaining cultural differences between the languages.
