他方、変化した子どもの生活に合った遊びやスポーツが少ないということも挙げられる。また少子化によりスポーツや外遊びの仲間となる身近にいる子どもが減少した。また、学校外の学習活動などで忙しく、平日の放課後に遊びたくても、時間が取れなかったり、友達と時間が合わないことが多くなっている。仲間が少ないので自分たちで外遊びを考え出すことが難しくなり、テレビゲームなどの室内遊びをすることが多くなる。このように、仲間の減少がスポーツや外遊びをできにくくする要因の一つとなっている

On the other hand, we can point out that there are not many entertainments or sports which are suitable for children's life style which had changed. Also, due to smaller number of children these days, there are much fewer playmates who one can enjoy sport or play outside together. Children are also bush with outside school activities and even if they wish to play after shcool, they may not be able to take enough time or have suitable time to spend time with friends. Since they don't have enough playmates, it is getting more difficult to think what kind of play they can enjoy outside and end up playing inside with TV games and so on. In this way , lack of enough playmates is one of the reasons that they cannot enjoy sport or outside plays.
