木型のグレーディングピッチが8.47mm(lengh):6.35mm(girth)ということは理解しました。
パターングレーディングを行う場合、8.47mmという数値は、木型のボトムレングス、スティックレングス、どちらを基準に考えれば良いのでしょうか？また、スティックレングスとは添付した画像のような計測の仕方で正しいのでしょうか？

I've understood that the wood type grading pitch is 8.47mm(length):6.35mm(girth).
When we do the pattern grading, which should i use the 8.47mm as the bottom length or the stick length? Also, is the method in the image i sent correct for measuring the stick length?
