Iwate leather is a leather produced by tanning the leather of "Iwate-Tankakuwagyu that is only 1 percent of the calf grown in Japan. It has been rated highly as a local item and has been talked about widely and slowly in Japan, which means that people has been paying attention to.

As vegetable tanning has been used, it is a remarkable leather where you can enjoy different feeling of the leather due to the change as a result of passing of years.

As Iwate-Tankakuwagyu is produced only by natural mating and is grown not to feel stress in a rich environment, the leather is fresh and beautiful.

It has reddish brown hair, and been known by the nickname "Akabeko".
