路上考現学をした観察ノート
“Kogengaku”とは我々の生活する街の習俗を観察記録することでそこに住む人の素顔を探る学問である。抽象論ではなく、物自体の観察に立ち返り分析対象を増やす日本の民俗学精神をよく表している。僕は特別に旅をしていなくても普段から街を歩くときはノートを持ち歩き、人々の表情や面白い形のオブジェクト、感情が動いたシーンを記録している。知的作業で詰まったときにこのノートを眺めると、関係ないように見える二つのことが結びつくことがある。

A Observation Note for Rojou(streets) Kogengaku
“Kogengaku” is a study of examining natural human behaviors by observing and recording way of life of a particular community. It is not an abstract argument, but it describes Japanese folklore spirit very well, that is to return to the basics by observing itself and to increase analysis subjects. I usually bring a note not just when having a special trip, but when walking the ordinary streets. And I write down local people's facial expressions, interesting shaped objects or scenes that I was moved. I look at this note when I get stuck on intellectual works, and sometimes I can find different two matters get connected.
