The great payoff for you as the boss in this environment is twofold. First, employees will be motivated to improve the way things are done. Second, employees will take some of the workload off your shoulders. They will begin to make decisions on their own instead of coming to you for every decision. You will be free to spend more time developing your employees and planning. The work flow will become more streamlined, and things will get done faster and oftentimes better than if you have to control everything in your area of responsibility.
