このレンズをAF撮影で使用するには、カメラボディ内にAFモーターを内蔵し、AFカップリングという継手を持った機種でないと、AF撮影ができません。

残念ながら、D5300などのD5000番台の機種やD3000番台の機種では、ボディに装備しているのはAF電子接点のみで、AFモーター内蔵のレンズしか、AF制御できません。

したがって、D5300でそのレンズを装着しても、MF（マニュアルフォーカス）専用レンズとなります。

To use this camera for AF shooting, it has to be a model having a built-in AF motor and a connector called AF coupling.
