システムの変更を要求されたが、まずは物流部門が何をやりたいか、要件を整理すべきだ。物流コストの削減か？非効率な作業を改善したいのか？売上への貢献か？はたまた、営業部門へ物流コストを知らしめたいのか？
何れにせよ、一度、要求を上げてきた物流部門のユーザにヒアリングする機会を設ける必要がある。
要件を整理すれば、必ずシステムを変更するだけでなく、ユーザ業務も大幅に改善してもらわなければならない事を理解してくれるはずだ。
