大学時代にカラオケでバイトしていた時、お店が始まる前にいわゆる朝礼があり、スタッフが全員集まってマネージャーのつまらない話を聞かされるのですが、最初に「よし、一服していいぞ」と言われ、皆タバコを吸うのですが、僕だけがノンスモーカーだったので、手持ち無沙汰になってしまい、それでタバコを吸い始めてしまいました。
5年前にとある飲み会で、ふと思いついて、この箱の残り３本を吸い終わったら一生タバコ吸わない、と友達に宣言し、それ以来本当に一本も吸っていません。その場のノリですね。

When I worked part-time at a karaoke during my university days, there was a so-called morning assembly, where all the staff will gather and listen to the manager's boring speech. Anyway, in the beginning, we were told "Yeah, go ahead and smoke" so everyone smoke, but I was the only non-smoker and it left me feeling awkward so I started smoking after that. At a drinking party 5 years ago, I declared to my friend how it hit me that after I finish the last 3 cigarettes from this box, I will never smoke again, and ever since then I haven't smoked a single cigarette. It was the feeling then and there.
