5. To mark the location (store it in the BackTrack’s memory under your selected Location icon), HOLD the MARK button until the distance indication changes
to “0”. It does not matter which direction you face when marking the location (as a stored GPS location is just a point or “dot”). When you move away from that location, an arrow points the way back to the location (general direction relative to your current position), and the display shows your distance from the location. You may now turn the BackTrack’s power off by HOLDing down the MODE/ Power button, or proceed to another location you want to mark.

5.（選択した地点のアイコン箇所にバックトラックメモリに保存する）地点をマークするには、"0"に距離表示が変わるまで、MARKボタンを押し続けます。地点を（保存されたGPSの位置がポイントや"ドット"であるように）マーキングする際、向いている方向は関係ありません。その地点から移動すると、矢印が地点（現在置から相対的な方角）に戻る道を指し、ディスプレイには地点からの距離が示されます。MODE /電源ボタンを押したままにすることによりバックトラックの電源をすぐにオフすることができ、またマークしたい別の地点に進むことができるだろう。
