What do you think is the most difficult part for doing a startup now?

"Yes, the general business environment is much better now than before. The most importantly, financing is relatively a lot easier. Also, there are more opportunities. However, the most difficult part is also because it’s easier to finance, which means you will have many competitors. There will also be many people or teams who have the same kind of idea with you and also have received fundings. So I think, how to stand out among those similar startups in the competition is the most difficult.

「そうだね、現在の一般的な事業環境は過去と比べて非常に良いものだ。最も重要な点として、資金調達が比較的簡単になったこと。また、現在ではより多くの機会が溢れかえっている。しかし、一番の難点は、資金調達が簡単になったことによって競合相手が増加すると言うことでもある。多くの人々やチームが自分と同様のアイディアをもって資金調達をしていく。なので、これら類似の競合スタートアップ企業の中で抜きん出るということが一番難しいことではないだろうか。」
