Thank you for the news. But now I am worried a little bit. Hopefully the parcel has been insured at full value?
Unfortunately, customs usually open the package with a 'gift' labeling & suspicious declared value. In that case I can only hope to receive a request to declare actual value. Because I have heard stories when parcel simply vanishes somewhere in custom house, because you have no proof that there was expensive item inside. So, I think, it is better to declare full price when sending an expensive lens to EU.
I really hope to receive the lens. I was ready to pay all taxes anyway.

残念ながら通常税関は、贈答品扱いであったり、申告価格が疑わしい荷物を開封します。その場合は、実際価格を申告するリクエストの受領を願うのみです。なぜなら、荷物が税関で紛失した場合、高額な物が中に入っていたことを証明できない、というような話を聞いたことがあるからです。ですので、高額なレンズをEUへ送る場合は、全額を申告したほうがいいと思います。レンズを受け取れることを願っています。元々、全ての税金は払う用意がありましたが。
