Founded in 1999, Indiagames is one of India’s earliest and largest mobile and online gaming companies. It has around 300 employees across 4 offices in Mumbai, Beijing, London and Los Angeles. It was later acquired by UTV Group in 2007, in a bid for the latter to enter the gaming segment. As of March 31, 2011, the company had made a profit of Rs 2.47 crores ($500k) with revenues of Rs 54.5 crores ($11.1 million).
