私の趣味はラジオを聴くことだ。最近、日本の若者ではラジオを聴く人が非常に少なくなってきていて、友人にも同じ趣味を持っている人はほとんどいない。しかし私はテレビよりラジオの方が圧倒的に好きである。なぜなら、ニュース番組以外のテレビ番組は映像を客観的に見るだけだが、ラジオはパーソナリティが語りかけてくるスタイルが多く、リスナーからのメールなどが多いため、聴いていて社会との繋がりを感じて落ち着くからである。テレビと違って、聴きながら他の作業ができることもラジオの良い点である。

My hobby is listening to the radio. Recently young people in Japan rarely listen to the radio, and I hardly have any friends who share the same hobby. But I love radio much more than TV. That's because you just watch images on TV subjectively, except for news programs, but on the radio, hosts tend to speak to you, and they receive many mails from listeners, so I feel calm feeling connection with society. Also, unlike TV, I like it that I can do other things while listening to the radio.
