「こちらのメッセージ」については、送信者のメッセージに送信者が返答するというのはおかしいです。bigbabyduckさんの解釈でよいと思います。それがわかっていらっしゃるなら、もっと明確に through/using this message board.としたほうがよいと思います。多忙につき、他の部分は後日検討できたらしますが、間違った解釈で格下げされているようなので、上方修正します。

review、ありがとうございます！「こちらのメッセージから」って、訳しにくかったです。「こちら」が何であるかわからないので、一般的なEメールのサイトや会社のホームページ、オンラインショッピングのサイトのメッセージ機能など色々な場合があるのを考慮して、その時に考えつく訳は、"in this kind of message"だけでした。もっと明確にとの事ですので、"using this function of messaging"は、どうでしょうかね。

そのほうがよいですね。私も含めてですが、日本人が慎重に回り持った言い方をすると、相手に伝わらない結果になりかねません。変にwould like toなんかを多様したりしている人がいますが、自信をもってきっぱり書いておかないと、それはどういう意図かと聞き返されることになります。外資系の翻訳会社とのメールのやり取りや、ネイティブチェッカーへの質問のときに、彼らの精神ではまったく不要な「相手への気遣い」は却って、当事者間に仕切りを作ることを経験しました。今回は、「機能」という言葉をコアに、その部分を何とかすればよかったと思います。一番簡単だったのは、"this function"だったかもしれません。それを利用して通信しているのですから、メッセージにあたる単語もなくても通じたはずです。

ところで、EPSONですが、どなたかが、これくらい有名な会社だと、最初から略語を使ってよいとかのたまわっていますが、常識としてまず最初は、Seiko Epson Corporation (Epson)のように正式名＋略式名を書いてから、略式名を使います。もし、どなたかが間違っていたら、教えてあげてください。間違ったことを言っている人がいますのて・・・
