それとも別の人がもう同じ問題を指摘していますか？
または上記の問題点の修正は対応してもらえないのでしょうか？

希望する人だけがファイルを差し替える形でも良いと思います
とりあえず現状のままだと仕様として最悪だと思います
類似のScriptでサムネイルのURLが外部サイトを参照しているのは無いですよね？
またサムネイルの画像の容量が大きいので以下のようなページスピードの評価がでます
今の仕様だと改善しようがありません

Also the thumbnail images' size is large and because of this, it lowers the page speed's evaluation.
