参道からずっと階段続きではありますが、周囲の変化する景色を堪能しているとあっと言う間に本堂です。

本堂からの景色を堪能する

こちらが長谷寺の本堂。国宝です。
傾斜地や崖の上に造られる懸造（かけづくり）と呼ばれる建築様式。
舞台がせり出すように造られているため、舞台造りとも呼ばれます。

見晴らしは最高。
舞台の周囲は木々に覆われ、秋は紅葉に包まれます。

本堂横手からカメラを構えると、長谷寺本堂に安置される「びんずる尊者」がシルエットで浮かび上がります。

Though the stairway continues from the approach to the main temple, reaching to the main temple passes like a flush while satisfied with ever changing scenery alongside.

This is the main temple of Hasedera. It is designated as the National Treasure.
The architecture style is called Kake-zukuri architecture where the hall is put on the downslope or on top of a cliff.
It is also called as Butai-zukuri where the building is jutting out like a stage.

It is a place with a fine view.
The stage is surrounded by trees of which leave turn color in autumn.

If you try to shoot pictures at a side of main temple, the statue of “Binzuru Sonja” rises up in your viewfinder as a silhouette.
