Osaka faced the age of economic growth called "Daiosaka" between 1920's through 1930's. The modern buildings which were built in result of the economic growth, are luxurious and stylish.

Modern buildings are the symbol of "Daiosaka period".

Daiosaka indicates the period when the culture and the economy of Osaka growed rapidly from the end of Tisho era to Showa era. During this period, many modern buildings were constructed mainly around Midosuji, the main street of Osaka. Its characteristic is that there are many builidings remaining which can be used or looked around inside.
