Apart from the favorable economic performance, Kosovo runs a very stable monetary policy. Kosovo is one of the few counties outside the EU-zone that has introduced the Euro as its official currency. The use of the Euro has provided the grounds for low in- flation and a stable macroeconomic environ- ment. By eliminating the exchange rate risk, transaction costs have been reduced, thus facilitating the promotion of trade and invest- ment. Due to the absence of monetary instruments resulting from the use of the Euro, Kosovo does not run any monetary policy risk either. Prices are expected to remain stable in the future.

経済の景気がいいのはさておき、コソボは非常に安定した金融政策を行っている。コソボはユーロを公的通貨として導入したEU圏以外の数カ国のうちの一つだ。ユーロの利用は低いインフレと安定したマクロ経済的環境の前提となった。為替レートリスクが取り除かれたことで取引コストが減少した結果、輸出入と投資が拡大した。ユーロの利用の結果、従来型の金融政策をとらなくてもよくなったため、コソボは政策リスクも負っていない。物価は引き続き将来も安定する見込みだ。
