Story

At the end of the Edo era, lives Himura Kenshin, the legendary swordsman feared under the name of "Hitokiri Battousai". After the Meiji Restoration, he vows not to kill anymore and sets off to wander around the country. Meeting Kamiya Kaoru and fighting with his sworn enemies who survived this tumultous era just like him, he seeks atonement and a way to live in the new era.
