Willix Halim got on stage to present Freelancer.com’s opportunity and program for the Indonesian market. The Australia-based director of growth said that Indonesian members account for only 2% of the site’s users (63,000 out of 4.3 million) — way behind its Asian neighbors, mostly Filipinos and Indians. To reach traction in the local market, Freelancer plans to open an office in Indonesia soon. Note: the localized site in Bahasa Indonesia has just launched few weeks ago.
