唐紙とは、そもそも日本の伝統工芸の一つで、主に襖紙に用いられる。現在でも桂離宮や二条城などの襖には必らず唐長の唐紙で修復されるが、一般的な襖紙の需要は減少の一途を辿っている。




そんな唐紙を現代の生活のインテリアにしたり、アートとして展開していこうとされているのが、千田愛子さんとトトアキヒコさん夫婦である。
