Identity certainty included items like "feeling secure and committed" and "a sense of being my own person." Confident power was assessed with items like "not holding back when I have something to offer" and "feeling respected." Concern about aging included items like "looking old" and "thinking a lot about death." Finally, concerns with generativity involved items like "effort to ensure that younger people get their chance to develop" and "wanting to make changes in society."
