Quieter, Compact Home Blender
The biggest change with the Vitamix Professional Series 300 blender lies in the design, starting with the blending container. The all new 64 Ounce Eastman Tritan™ Copolyester carafe stands just above 17 inches tall when on the blender base. This allows for on-counter storage under most kitchen cabinets. Copolyester is as durable as polycarbonate, but features improved sound damping and is BPA-Free and chemical resistant. The wet blade has been redesigned as well, increasing the blade diameter from 2.88 to 3.5 inches. Vitamix also added a vibartion dampening and enhanced airflow design which reduces noise by 40%, similar to their commercial blenders.
