トランスデューサの内部構造の話はとても物理的で難しいのですが、どのような向きであれ
トランスデューサが筋肉の動きに対して垂直であればPPXは値を検出してくれると理解しています。ただ、信頼性のあるデータを取るには、親指の腹側にきちんと装着することが一番ということでよろしいですよね。

Do you mean that the flat side has to be placed at the nail side of the thumb? (Please refer to picture 2.)
Do you mean that the PPX can detect the movement of the opposite side(nail side) and calculate it as PPX value?
I am not a physics expert so, understanding the internal structure of the transducer is quite difficult but, my understanding is that, as long as the transducer is perpendicular to the muscular movement, it will work either way and the PPX will detect the value.
If I need an accurate data, is it better to place it rightly at the palm side of my thumb?
